Programme Details
BCom International Accounting and Finance curriculum is embedded with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) and our students study these globally recognised subjects of ACCA as part of the syllabus.
Hence, any student who joins our BCom International Accounting and Finance programme is eligible to enroll for ACCA. Since we have incorporated the ACCA subjects into our curriculum, our students enjoy subject exemptions from ACCA as well. For this, the students are required to pay the ACCA annual subscription fee and examination fees for the non-exempted papers separately when registering for their exams with ACCA.
This Programme facilitates students to acquire adequate knowledge in the field of Financial Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Banking, Cost Accounting, Corporate Administration, Marketing, Business Laws, International Business, Event Management, Quantitative Methods, Research, Marketing, Entrepreneurial Development, and Operations management.
Admission & Selection Process
Admission Process : The applicants must fill in complete information on the online application form and upload all required certificates (whatever is available) and photos.
Selection Process : The candidates have to appear for an entrance test. The details of the entrance test are detailed below. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. There are two rounds in the interview. The dates of the entrance test and the subsequent interview will be announced on the website. Once the final interview is over, candidates have to pay their programme fee within 3 days in full and the mode of payment must be online.

Eligibility
- Candidates who have completed two-years of Pre-University programme in Karnataka state or its equivalent are eligible for admission to this programme.
- Students of undergraduate programmes must study two languages, out of which one shall be English and the other shall be either an Indian language or a foreign language other than English.
- The University offers the following language courses: Introductory Kannada, Introductory French, Introductory Spanish, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit, French, Additional English and German.
- CBSE and ISC students and others who have not studied a second language at the plus two level are encouraged to opt for Introductory Kannada, Introductory French, Introductory Spanish or German. These are taught from the introductory level and require no prior acquaintance. Only those students who have not learnt these languages either in school or class XI or XII are eligible to enroll for these introductory level courses as second language.
- Students need PUC/XII level competence to study Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and French courses.
- Additional English is meant for students who have serious problems learning other languages.

- Students opting For Kannada/Hindi/Tamil will not be charged any additional fee
Note:
- Please note: if admitted, the fee must be paid in full within the time prescribed in the Admit Intimation.
- To claim the Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied the last 7 years in Karnataka.[Not applicable for OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals].
NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who:
- Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
- NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.
The Management / University does not collect any type of Capitation fees / Donation other than the fees mentioned above.
Programme Objectives
- To develop students’ intellectual ability, executive personality, and accounting and finance skills through an appropriate blending of finance and general business education.
- To make sustained efforts for the holistic development of the students and thereby empower them to ably face the challenges posed by changing business environment.
- Apply contextual knowledge to evaluate regulatory challenges and compliances pertaining to Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, for any organisation.
- To inculcate a spirit of Ethics and Social Commitment in the personal and professional life of commerce graduates so that they add value to the society.

Documents Required
Selected candidates must first update the following documents on their admission portal before the interview. The admitted students must submit the original documents at the Admin Office:
- Class 10th Certificate (High School) and Marks Card
- Class 11th Certificate and Marks Card
- Class 12th Certificate (Senior Secondary School) and Marks Card
- Transfer Certificate from last qualified institution
- Migration Certificate except for the Karnataka State Board applicants
- Two passport-size photographs and one stamp-size photograph in formal dress with a white background
- Two Photocopies of the Online Payment Receipt
- Valid ID proof such as Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID Card
Candidates belonging to any of these categories -PIO / OCI / SAARC / FOREIGN NATIONALS-must submit the following documents:
- Photocopy of Passport and Visa Details
- Copy of PIO / OCI card (whichever is applicable and available at the time of admission)
- Certificate of Medical Fitness from an approved medical practitioner accredited by the Medical Council of India
- Resident Permit (If available)
