Programme Details
BBA (Strategic Finance) The Programme integrates a bachelors programme in Business Administration with the globally recognized Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification offered by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA), the certification division of IMA, USA. The CMA program is offered the authorised CMA partner Miles Academy. On successful completion of the programme, students will get the BBA degree through St. Joseph’s University and CMA certification will be awarded by ICMA on fulfilment of educational requirement and professional requirement. This unique programme is designed to familiarize students with the finance decision- making process and working of financial markets.
- The BBA programme aims at developing a student’s intellectual ability, executive personality, and management skills through an appropriate blending of business and general education.
- To make sustained efforts for the holistic development of the students and thereby empower them to ably face the challenges posed by changing business environment.
- The programme also seeks to prepare students to be job-ready or drive entrepreneurship initiatives or higher education in business at home and abroad.
- To inculcate a spirit of ethics and social commitment in the personal and professional life of management graduates so that they add value to society.
Admission & Selection Process
Admission Process : The applicants must fill in complete information on the online application form and upload all required certificates (whatever is available) and photos.
Selection Process : The candidates have to appear for an entrance test. The details of the entrance test are detailed below. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. There are two rounds in the interview. The dates of the entrance test and the subsequent interview will be announced on the website. Once the final interview is over, candidates have to pay their programme fee within 3 days and the mode of payment must be online.

Eligibility
- Candidates who have completed two-years of Pre-University programme in Karnataka state or its equivalent are eligible for admission to this programme.
- Students of undergraduate programmes must study two languages, out of which one shall be English and the other shall be either an Indian language or a foreign language other than English.
- The University offers the following language courses: Introductory Kannada, Introductory French, Introductory Spanish, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit, French, Additional English and German.
- CBSE and ISC students and others who have not studied a second language at the plus two level are encouraged to opt for Introductory Kannada, Introductory French, Introductory Spanish or German. These are taught from the introductory level and require no prior acquaintance. Only those students who have not learnt these languages either in school or class XI or XII are eligible to enroll for these introductory level courses as second language.
- Students need PUC/XII level competence to study Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and French courses.
- Additional English is meant for students who have serious problems learning other languages.

- Students opting For Kannada/Hindi/Tamil will not be charged any additional fee
Note:
- Please note: if admitted, the fee must be paid in full within the time prescribed in the Admit Intimation.
- To claim the Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied the last 7 years in Karnataka.[Not applicable for OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals].
NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who:
- Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
- NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.
The Management / University does not collect any type of Capitation fees / Donation other than the fees mentioned above.

Documents Required
Selected candidates must first update the following documents on their admission portal before the interview. The admitted students must submit the original documents at the Admin Office:
- Class 10th Certificate (High School) and Marks Card
- Class 11th Certificate and Marks Card
- Class 12th Certificate (Senior Secondary School) and Marks Card
- Transfer Certificate from last qualified institution
- Migration Certificate except for the Karnataka State Board applicants
- Two passport-size photographs and one stamp-size photograph in formal dress with a white background
- Two Photocopies of the Online Payment Receipt
- Valid ID proof such as Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID Card
Candidates belonging to any of these categories -PIO / OCI / SAARC / FOREIGN NATIONALS-must submit the following documents:
- Photocopy of Passport and Visa Details
- Copy of PIO / OCI card (whichever is applicable and available at the time of admission)
- Certificate of Medical Fitness from an approved medical practitioner accredited by the Medical Council of India
- Resident Permit (If available)
