About Oikonomika
Oikonomika is the association for the Post Graduate economics students which helps the students to acquire the necessary skills and keep in par with the current world as economists. Oikonomika seeks to evince interest in economics among young students by helping them to explore the various dimensions and applications of well-known theories and create opportunities to interact among themselves and with other eminent scholars.
Objectives of Oikonomika
To obtain a better understanding of Economics through an innovative and creative approach
To provide learning platforms and opportunities
To conduct interactive sessions and activities to establish a strong network
To gain exposure to real-life economic situations
Every year the association organises numerous activities like guest lectures, seminars, industrial visits and peer teaching, union budget discussions etc.
For this academic the list of activities planned are: webinars, guest lectures, debates, case study solving, online quizzes, Documentary screening, Virtual industrial visit and an inter-collegiate economics fest.
