Attitude FormationClass Activity11-08-2023The activity was conducted with an objective to help students understand how prejudices form. The ABC model of attitude formation was introduced and students were asked to observe how they formed some kind of attitude or prejudice towards a person/ object/ community/ ideology / activity based on this model. The activity enabled the students to observe how certain type of information processing and experiences around their lives can lead to formation of positive / negative attitude. Also, this gave an insight to formation of prejudice in society.
Recognising EmotionsClass Activity03-08-2023The objective of the activity was to make students identify their physiological changes that takes place when they are under stress. The activity began with making them think about a stressor / a difficult episode or an event that triggered anxiety and stress in them. they were asked to go through that episode and observe how body was responding to it. The students had to make a note of it. In the second stage the students were asked to sit straight with relaxed body and take deep breaths. They were asked to think about the activity doing which they feel happy think about a person / pet with whom they like to share their problems or feel happy. Again they were asked to stay with that thought and make a note of the physiological changes happening. the activity helped the Students to understand the concept of stress and its physiological effects.Class Students
