The distinctiveness of the Air Wing NCC lies in activities like microlight flying to promote airmanship, where cadets receive training to fly aircraft as co-pilots. Additionally, a flight simulator is set up to help cadets improve their flying skills.

The program also includes skeet shooting, which is also an international sport where a moving target is shot with a shotgun, and 0.22 firing to develop cadets’ marksmanship.

Aeromodelling, even though considered one of the costliest hobbies, is part of the training curriculum where in cadets are trained to construct aircraft models- Radio controlled, Control line and Static, to instil values of craftsmanship in cadets.

Drill instils discipline, confidence, comradeship, and physical strength in cadets. Additionally, tent pitching is also a fascinating activity that promotes time management and team coordination in cadets.
