Unique Features of the Organization

A cadet of 1 KAR ARMD SQN undergoes immense training for drills and developing physically to attain perfection. The training taught here is unlike any other NCC units. This, not only strengthens them physically but mentally as well.

Besides the physical training aspect of NCC, the cadets take part in social service activities like Swachh Bharath Abhiyan, tree plantation drives, and spreading awareness. They also participate in college-related activities like blood donation drives, Neerathon, and conducting a firing range for PRATHIBHA. A cadet is also given the opportunity to take part in adventure camps like mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing, skiing, snorkeling, etc. Throughout one’s life in NCC, a cadet picks up the qualities of comradeship, leadership, discipline and a spirit of adventure, and at the end of the day he or she gains a family.
