St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, will send emails from sju@linways.in or sju.edu.indomain for the application process. Email will be sent only to the selected candidates for the interview through SJU sender ID.
The application fee for UG Programmes is Rs 800 (eight hundred only), for PG Programmes and PG Diploma Programmes is Rs 1000 (one thousand only) and for Doctoral Programmes (PhD) is Rs 1000 (one thousand only). For the Programmes having an entrance test, Rs 200 (two hundred only) will be charged as an additional fee(additional bank charges may be applicable). The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Applicants for all bachelor's programmes should update their XII Standard/ II PU marks in their application form.
The programmes with an entrance test for admission are clearly specified. Request for a change of date/time/venue/mode of test/interview will not be entertained. No request for TA/DA or accommodation will be entertained. Failure to attend the entrance test/interview is considered as “not selected”.

St Joseph's University Entrance Tests (SJUET) for Cycle-I will be conducted across 5 states in the following cities: Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Kolkata (West Bengal), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Cochin/Ernakulam (Kerala), and Bengaluru (Karnataka). The dates, timings and venues will be updated on the applicant portal. SJUET for the remaining cycles will be conducted on campus for all Indian nationals. All Foreign/International applicants will not have entrance tests but will be screened separately as prescribed by the Department/School. Only the programmes of the School of Communication and Media Studies will have online entrance tests for all the cycles.

If a candidate has applied for more than one programme, both of which have entrance tests, provisions will be made for the candidate to take both tests on the same day. The dates and timings of St Joseph’s University Entrance Test (SJUET) are notified. After arriving at the venue of the test, the candidate will be informed as to which test he/she should complete first. After a break of half an hour, the candidate can take the next test.
All applicants are advised to take note that undergraduate programs in the Schools of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences, which offer three optional subjects, will implement the 3+3+1 model at our University. This structure requires that students admitted to these programs study all three majors during the first four semesters. In the final two semesters, students will be required to select one of these optional subjects as their primary major. The allocation of the third major will be determined in accordance with the policies established by the University.
