For physicists, maths is a tool used to answer questions. For mathematicians, physics can be a source of inspiration, with theoretical concepts such as general relativity and quantum theory providing an impetus for mathematicians to develop new tools. Over the last nine decades, the Dept of Physics has scaled new heights in setting standards of education by promoting scientific temperament and kindling curiosity in physics among students. The Dept of Maths initiates students to the power of abstraction, to enjoy and create patterns and explore relationships that underlie mathematical structures. The Dept of Computer Science gives you insights into the world of computers, their applications and languages.
