Tamil is a classical language. Being a part of the Tamil department, our responsibility is to impart this to our students in an effective manner. Therefore, the syllabus is designed in such a way as to include all types of literature in Tamil. Moreover, the Tamil department focuses on developing attributes such as learning ability, analysing, and creativity in their students.
We have an association exclusive for Tamil enthusiasts called “Tamil Sangam”. Every year through Tamil Sangam inter-collegiate competitions, cultural programs, the Pongal festival, and such other activities are conducted. In the years to come, the Tamil department can assure that it will excel in all aspects.
