  • Students opting For Kannada/Hindi/Tamil will not be charged any additional fee

Note: 

  •  To claim the Karnataka category fee, the candidates should have studied the last 7 years in Karnataka.[Not applicable for OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals].

NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who:

  • Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
  • NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.

This programme integrates plant biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology to explore plant systems and bio-based innovations.

Students are prepared to:

  • Pursue advanced programmes in plant sciences, agriculture, biochemistry, and biotechnology.
  • Perform plant tissue culture, molecular marker studies, enzymology, and genetic engineering.
  • Analyse plant metabolism and apply biotechnology to agriculture.
  • Work in seed companies, plant biotech labs, agri-tech firms, environmental consulting, and pharma.
  • Take JAM, GATE, CSIR-NET, DBT-BET, ICAR exams.
  • Address agricultural and environmental challenges with biotechnological tools.
